J.Williams Ltd was founded in 1962 by James and Mavis Williams, who successfully created one of the leading locksmith business in Ireland. It remained in its original premises on Mercer Street until 2002 when it moved about 50 yards to a purpose designed workshop, retail outlet and offices at 12 Bow Lane East, Mercer Street, Dublin 2.

J. Williams Ltd is now operated by Leslie Williams and Laura O'Brien ( son & daughter of James and Mavis Williams), who are committed to continue with the ethos of quality and service at fair prices.

As Irelands leading locksmith company its important that we keep up to date with all the progression in the locksmith trade, advances in key, lock and safe technology etc.,, this is obtained throught dealing with the major lock and key manufacturers and also been a member of Associated Locksmiths of Ireland.
